Failte to the Clan McCain Blog and e-Magazine

The McCain Clan Blog is a casual meeting place and web magazine dedicated to the descendants of the Mac Eáin family that originated in Kilmichael Glassary Parish, mid Argyll, Scotland. This family moved to Donegal in the 1500s and spread to Counties Tyrone, Derry, and Antrim, in the 1600s.

All photos in this magazine are of McCain descendants who have participated in DNA testing, or have had one of their blood relations to test, and have confirmed they belong to this Gaelic clan.

Our Diaspora is far and wide, but we are most numerous today in the American South and in Ontario and New Brunswick, Canada and of course there are a few still left in Donegal, Tyrone, Derry, and Antrim.
